The next Steps

1) Write down two or three possible topics and possible thesis statements for each topic. Go to the discussion page and post them. Read other student's ideas and comment on at least three. Think about whether they are suitable for the audience and able to be covered well in a short paper. I will also be commenting on the posts- remember a good topic makes it much easier to have a good paper. Click here to download the complete guidelines for the paper.

2) After getting some feedback, write a rough draft, post it on Eli Review. Reply to at least two other student's posts. Give thoughtful feedback. Click here to download a document about how to give good feedback.

3) Revise your draft, making sure it is fairly polished. Send it as an attachment and clicking here.
